We at Neonate (Noricon AS) are fortunate to have healthy business which makes it possible for us to support and invest in food, health and environmental causes. Through the years we have donated millions of NOK to organizations including SOS Children’s Villages, UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders and Norwegian People’s Aid.
Farm for the Future
We are one of the major contributors to Farm for the Future (FFF) and their unique model to end poverty through commercial farming and training in the same area in Tanzania. FFF offer training programs in producing maize seeds and macadamia nuts, as well as programs for nurturing agricultural interest among children, and empowering and increasing the employability of young mothers. Environment
We have taken a proper stand when it comes to environmental impact in our production of baby monitors.
- Our newest baby monitor models we are using PCB cards without Bromine.
- All our products have gone through a process of cutting the packaging material with minimum 25%. On some products, we have reduced packaging size up to 45%. The packaging of our newest baby monitor model, N65, consists only of paper and cardboard.
- We are focusing on giving the best support possible for our customers thus we educate how to get the best out of our products, and we strive to replace with parts rather than replacing full products.
- We are currently working on making our products without glue, which will give more opportunities to repairing instead of replacing products.
